MAKEUP DESIGN FOR FILM & TELEVISION

Leah has been working in film, television, and theatre for over a decade since graduating from VFS. When not in the classroom, she is actively involved in many Vancouver productions. Her credits include Yellowjackets, Star Trek Beyond, Van Helsing, iZombie, and The 100.

Anya has enjoyed a freelance career as a makeup artist and hairstylist for more than 25 years in Canada, the US, and Europe. She's worked in fashion, film, television, and commercials, with artists such as Isabella Rossellini and Aerosmith.

A member of IATSE 891 since 1996, Elissa has been a makeup artist for over 20 years. As a long-time VFS faculty member, she has helped shape the program and as an Instructor and has helped guide more than a thousand students through to graduation.

Charlie has worked on more than 70 film and television productions and has enjoyed every one. He is currently in three departments at IATSE (Makeup, Props, and SPFX), as well as a puppeteer in UBCP. Charlie's credits include Jumanji, The X-Files, and The Fly 2.

A graduate of VFS, Arwen has worked steadily in makeup effects since 2014. Their credits include Midnight Club, The Boys, Another Life, and Altered Carbon. They look forward to passing on their knowledge to students, while continuing to work in the industry.

Sean is a graduate of VFS. His recent work includes Associate Wig Designer for Kinky Boots, Wig Designer for Orfeo ed Euridice, RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 11, and Canada’s Drag Race Season 2.

A VFS graduate, Crissy has been working in the industry since 2007. Combining her artistic and technical talents, her credits include: The Last of Us, The Stand, Supernatural, Tron: Legacy, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and Star Trek Beyond.

Amy has been a professional makeup artist for over 20 years. She started working in film and television in 2005. Her credits include The Man In The High Castle, Fear The Walking Dead, Star Trek Beyond, Arrow, and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
