- This event is on track to be Twitch Vancouver's largest meetup to date and the largest in North America.
- Vancouver Film School’s downtown campus spaces will allow up to 400 Twitch community members the opportunity to meet and collaborate with one another and their fans.
- Twitch Vancouver Community Meetup hosts content creators, game developers, industry professionals and fans with playable game demos (including VR), live streams, raffle giveaways, a photo booth, creative corner, free swag, prizes, and more!
- This free event will be hosted at the 151 W. Cordova Street VFS Campus studios in downtown Vancouver from 6pm-11pm on Saturday, March 2nd with early access at 5pm, and is open to everyone aged 19 and up.
(Vancouver, BC) February 14, 2019 - Vancouver Film School (VFS) is happy to announce its partnership with Twitch Vancouver Community Meetup to bring the largest Twitch Meetup in North America to Vancouver from 6pm-11pm on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019 with early access at 5pm. This free event will bring together content creators, streamers, game developers, industry professionals and their fans at the VFS Campus on 151 W. Cordova Street.
Twitch Vancouver Community Meetup has grown from its roots in 2015, when it made Vancouver the very first city to have a Twitch meetup. Since then, the non-profit group has been instrumental in guiding operations and shaping the official Twitch Meetup program for cities around the globe. They will be equipped with the four studios at Vancouver Film School’s West Cordova downtown Campus to make this meetup the largest of its kind in North America, providing playable game demos (including VR), live streams, raffle giveaways, a photo booth, creative corner, free swag, prizes and more!
